| Traveling through many villages I saw the temples which people erect at their homes and businesses and where they make offerings each day. I would describe many of their temples as altars since they may be only a couple of meters high and less than a meter wide. I have always viewed rockstacks in a sacred context and sought here to integrate them with the traditions of the Balinese people. From this understanding came a desire to wrap the stacks much as they wrap their small temples. These are some of the images which resulted from that vision. | |||||||||
